There has been so much senseless loss in Orlando this week.
Days like these make me wonder if we are the most intelligent species.
If we all took only what we needed, cared for one another and replenished what we took, there would be more than enough resources for all to survive happily: food, water, love, warmth, support and purpose.
There is no need for hate, greed, ego, waste and violence.
We can do this together. Stand up make a change. Turn off the TV and connect. Have real talks about anger, hate and the proper ways to express and diffuse them. Do not let our younger generations become immune, desensitized or comfortable with violence real or imaginary. Fill their lives with positive messages of hope and love and community. Show them love, give them purpose and belonging.
We are all in this together, responsible for each other, not against each other and we can make change.
