I love bees. Cannot get enough interaction with them. I believe we can learn so much from them. In the hive everyone has a job, everyone works toward the common goals of the group and everyone pulls their weight. They take it so much further than that though. Think about the day in the life of bees. Everyone goes to work and as they work , food is gathered and plants pollinated to create new food later. Brilliant. Let’s keep going, in the hive, comb is built to store food, honey, but in building out the hive they use materials that have protective substances in them to protect the hive from mites, beetles, disease and bacteria. When the weather gets cold, they gather in the center of the hive and move, move to keep everyone especially the Queen, their reproduction, safe and warm. They work for common good every day, they choose to use resources and replenish them at the same time, they store food in and build their houses out of sustainable, non toxic, materials that actual protect themselves from harm.
Let’s jump on this trend….I’d be honored to live in a hive.
