Springtime is festival time!  Time to get out and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of springtime and local life.  Why do we love them so much?  We get to be kids again.  We connect with our neighbors. We are surrounded by smiles and laughter.  People are more relaxed than in every day life.  We are trying new things and being spontaneous.  We are having fun and not needing to plan it.  There is no schedule or time limit, just meandering days, roaming amongst other people , away from technology and responsibility.

I  believe it’s why that festival snack shared with friends tastes so good, why the memories of these day evoke such strong emotion.  We are connecting in pure joy, spontaneity and community.
